let’s see finally something to write about

alloneecole:

interesting? exciting? worth while to read? perhaps not to you.. but i feel it is necessary to document every social activity i participate in, given the fact that it is very possible i may not be participating in much more for a while. that is, if my father has it his way.

everyone knows i only do like, one thing a weekend. under his constant supervision. reeeediculous. why, i practically had to fight him tooth and nail to get out of the house for a few hours today. as my parents would say, the whole ordeal was “an uphill battle.”

“study SAT!” he spat. once in the car, he ventured to ask me, “So what work have you dont thus far?” i didn’t answer. sometimes silence is its own form of protest. *sigh*

butttt once i finally got to sophie’s house, my monotonous existence took a turn for the better. we talked, changed, and drove to moe’s southwest grill. i realized i had only  $3.00 and an urban outfitters giftcard in my possession. so as any kind friend would, sophie offered to pay for the two of us. i tried to return the favor (or 1/4 of the favor) by buying us each a chocolate chip cookie. 2 for 1 dollar.

we headed to lenox - in less than favorable conditions, mind you - and urb’s was our only stop. sophie had babysitting at 5:30, and we left the mall around 5:00. of course she was late. abby was at SAT practice and iiiiiiiiiii was um, extra baggage? haha. xenia, thankfully called just as we were pulling up to children-to-be-babysat’s house and so i was dropped off there.

returned our numerous calls, abby phoned to ask what xenia and i were up to. she asked if we wanted to go to the mall. a second round? sure, why not! i agreed and called my dad, thinking how simple it would be for him to pick me up from lenox at 7pm (our previously agreed time) but of course… his response was No. i pleaded. “dad… i don’t hang out with my friends but once every weekend..” he remained firm. “dad, don’t you remember winter break? i only went out with xenia and maya that one time. i really truly don’t ask you for a lot…” and still. the verdict remained.

SO. we called abby (xenia and i) and told her that we’d be staying in. how nice of xenia really. to stay with her dear friend nicolio on her day off of work. we engaged in an episode of Teen Mom (apparently xenia’s guilty pleasure) and made chicken nuggets and chips&salsa.

abby and anastasiya then came over. clock struck 7 and i left. i headed for the driver’s seat, but my dad didn’t feel like switching and so i was again the lame passenger. we ate dinner. at the mall. not lenox. but northlake. stil though. do you see the futilty? i shopped around. got a few things. i have a few purchases to show for today. in total i am pleased with my outing. thought you should know. in case my social life deteriorates forever. i want some written proof that i once had friends.

hahahaha

oh god.
